Quote

“If you see ten troubles coming down the road, you can be sure that nine will run into the ditch before they reach you.”
– Calvin Coolidge

Many people, one in particular, has told me this same thing in variation of this quote. Most of the things we worry about, does not happen. So why do some of us do this to ourselves? I wish I had that answer. I personally have a difficult time letting my life play out. I am a planner. I think ahead and plan and act accordingly. That in turn makes me think about every possible outcome that could happen and it leads me to worry about what might happen. However, the older I become, I see myself letting more and more things go. I am trying to let things roll off my shoulders more. Regardless of what some might say, I am starting to worry less. I am learning to relax more. Are you one of those people that worries more than you should? What can you do to lessen your worries?
